Commitment

• Certain pallets are manufactured by Westlandia enclaves. For certain reasons these workers cannot (any longer) be employed on the ordinary labour market. Counselled by a Westlandia officer these people manufacture pallets with special dimensions or in limited edition.
• Sheltered workshop Sowepo in Poperinge also produces pallets for De Backer Pallets.
• All wood waste is recycled in heat.
• All dry kilns are fed with recycled energy from an incineration plant running on biomass.
